Can you feel the excitement?
|
 |
|
People are getting excited, truly
excited and motivated. There is an ever growing
passion towards Obama. This is a feeling that
Americans haven't felt for many long years, last
experienced in 1963 towards John F Kennedy. |

| Q.
What is happening?
A. USA
Senator Barack Obama Jr. (age 47) is the Democratic
Candidate for President of the United States of America at
the national election to be held November 4th, 2008. He won
an exhausting five month race with fellow Democrats,
including Hilary Clinton, to be the Nominee. He is only the fifth African American Senator in US
history but may soon also become America's first Black President.

The world is changing! |
| Q. Is he really going to win?
A.
I believe Barack Obama will become President.
Obviously the Clintons had great support from Blacks, but
that all started before Obama was on the scene. Now, one by
one, we are all seeing that the dream is coming true and are
standing behind him for support. He is a clever and educated
family man who impresses everyone he speaks to, both White
and Black. His policies of true change and stance on the
Iraq war are energizing the youth of America. People who
have never stood out before, some of them even Republicans,
are feeling compelled to support him. There is an energy, an
excitement, and its building and getting bigger. Obama is
coming! |
|
Q.
Why do I care?
A. When the most powerful
person in the world is a Black man, we will know
that equality has truly been achieved. Imagine
when everyone can dream of becoming President.
That's important, so I'll repeat: Imagine when
EVERYONE can dream of becoming President. A
new generation of children will grow to know
that Martin Luther King Jr's Dream came true.

Q.
Who is this fellow Barack Hussein
Obama again?
A.
Simple, he is us. And he's Black. His
dad was an African Muslim from Kenya and his mom
was a white Christian from Kansas, USA. Obama was
born in Hawaii, USA, August 4th 1961 as a true
American Citizen. His parents separated when he was
age 2. As a child he spent a few years in Indonesia, but later graduated in America from
Columbia University and Harvard Law School.
Obama first found his calling as a passionate
Community Organizer in Chicago. He
eventually became a Civil Rights Lawyer and then
an Illinois State Senator in 1997. Obama got elected as a
US Senator in 2004.

| Q.
When does it happen?
A. The Democrats have already
chosen Obama as their Presidential Nominee for the November
4th election. The winner of that race officially becomes
President on January
20th, 2009. Obama is now finalizing important policies and
constantly updating plans in this ever changing world so
that he is ready to lead America and the World from Day One!
He is deciding key posts to make his government strong and
effective, such as his decision for Joe Biden to be Vice
President
[VP-Joe
Biden].
History is truly coming! Good luck
Obama! |

Q.
Is there any tie to the UK?
A. Yes there is. Obama's
67(+) year old Stepmother Kezia now lives in Bracknell
just west of London. And yes, he has also had
the opportunity to visit her here before in the
UK and explore locally. In 2005, she attended Obama's US Senate Inauguration.
[Story: Daily Mail]. Regardless, British
people will feel pride by his
incredible achievement! Obama's wife Michelle
also visited London to talk with supporters 15
Oct 2007. More recently, Obama met ex-PM Tony
Blair, current-PM Gordon Brown, and (next PM?)
David Cameron in London 26 July 2008.

Q.
Is Obama too young?
A. No. In fact at
47, he is perfect for the job. Well known
American John F Kennedy was younger at 43 when he was
elected President of the United Sates in 1960.
And lets all remember that Tony Blair became
Prime Minister of the United Kingdom also at the
age of 43 in 1997. Currently the Conservative
Party leader David Cameron is only
age 41 (dob 9/10/66). As for
wisdom, some
people are born with more sense than a lifetime
of experience. Obama has great vision and will
no doubt pick a very capable team of advisors.
The best of the best will help implement his
policies of hope. Actor, Robert De Niro spoke
wittingly about Obama's Experience.
